HQU provides easy access for operations to script and automate tasks so that they can better organize and manage their infrastructure with zero downtime to business-critical Hyperic HQ monitoring and management services. It allows integrating and monitoring system with an XML feed in minutes and it is easy to monitor data or export it to another application or service.
According to the release, HQU plug in framework empowers web operations teams to deliver a "perfect fit" systems management strategy for high-growth web environments. Written in Groovy, HQU’s modular design enables plugins to be easily shared and added to live Hyperic HQ environments without stopping or restarting the HQ server.
