Eclipse Based Project-Management Tool Launched For Agile Software
GOOD Software, provider of software project and process management solutions, has announced the beta release of ProjectKoach 2008, a free software project management tool for agile software teams.
ProjectKoach 2008 features planning and managing software projects. ProjectKoach is available as both an Eclipse plug-in, for Eclipse-based teams, and as standalone application for use in non-Eclipse and mixed environments.
The integration with Eclipse provides use cases, user stories and other feature-descriptions. Eclipse can be planned and managed with simple drag-and-drop; it facilitates integration with the Eclipse Process Framework; and it creates a zero-administration solution for setting up and sharing project information across the team.
ProjectKoach 2008 can be empowered with OpenUP process models to facilitate creation of iteration plans using predefined collaboration patterns and tasks.
