Oracle Buys Empirix Web Testing Business
Software giant, Oracle has announced to acquire the e-Test suite of products from Empirix, a provider of voice and web application testing and monitoring technology.
The e-Test suite consists of products for testing of voice and web applications. The e-test components contain the e-Enterprise Manager to create and organize test processes, e-testing to create test scripts and e-Load for loading and testing the performance of Web applications.
According to the company, e-Test products would integrate Oracle Enterprise Manager and Oracle Real Application Testing. Empirix’s web application testing business will continue to be part of Empirix until the deal is finalized.
