Kohsuke Kawaguchi, Staff Engineer at Sun, in his blog has reported that GlassFish v3 can be run as an OSGi appliation, and can also run without any kind of classloader isolation system at all.

It is sufficient for a set-GFv3 jars in the Classpath to integrate inorder to run.
